Welcome to the MacEwan Teaching Awards Nomination and Submission Form.
Thank you for your interest in recognizing and celebrating excellence in teaching at MacEwan University. Before making your selection, ensure you have reviewed the eligibility criteria and requirements for each award on the MacEwan Teaching Awards page.Please have your documents ready to upload before proceeding with your submission.
Below is a summary of Institutional Level Awards.
Awards for Nomination (November 27-January 30)
Distinguished Teaching Award
Considered one of our highest honours, the Distinguished Teaching Award celebrates outstanding teaching ability and a commitment to education leadership.
Teaching Leadership Award
The Teaching Leadership Award recognizes outstanding leadership and commitment to improving teaching and learning experiences at an institutional, disciplinary, community or societal level.
Early Career Teaching Excellence Award
The Early Career Teaching Excellence Award recognizes outstanding contributions to teaching undertaken by new instructional faculty members.
Sessional Instructor Teaching Excellence Award
The Sessional Instructor Teaching Excellence Award recognizes sessional faculty who demonstrate excellent teaching.
Process
1. Login
Login to the award site with your email and password.
2. Create
Create your online nomination/application submission.
3. Save
During the Call for Nominations/Applications period, your submission can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a 
appear in the category tab when the submission is saved. At any time, you can download and print your submission by clicking on the 
icon in the Submission Summary section.
4. Submit
On completion, save your nomination/application as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your submission for your records by clicking on the icon in the Submission Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Nominations/Applications period, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.
